Just don't even make a password here. Set openids / oAuth, preferably in all of them: GitHub, Google, Twitter, etc. But picking 2 is good enough to have a backup, in case one of them crashes.
Also, feel free to make a strong password, by all means. Right now it's enforced for at least 21 characters.
Just configured and tested oauth for google, twitter and facebook. Yahoo seem to offer some oauth as well, but there is no configuration for it and I couldn't bother testing it. This means you don't even need to bother about setting up a password (at least a new one in here) if you simply use oauth! 
I personally highly recommend using Google's 2 step verification for best security.
